The Italian Embassy in Stockholm is a building that contains a great deal of culture and history. Oak Hill, as the building was once called, was bought by Prince Wilhelm, who later married Princess Maria Pavlovna. The architect Ferdinand Boberg was responsible for present design of the palace. In 1926 the building was bought by the Italian government. Ateljé Catellani has restored many of the artworks that adorn the Italian Embassy. Back to the list of Institutions >> |
