Ateljè Catellani ranks among the world’s leading conservators of paintings and are experts in the fields of analysis, conservation and restoration of works of art. Ateljé Catellani was established in 1989 and has worked since then with the conservation and restoration of paintings on canvas and wood panel, particularly works of art dating from the fifteenth to the nineteenth Century. The studio does undertake conservation and restauration of artworks suffering from fire and water damage in private ownership, churches, castles and museums.
The activities of the ateljé regarding the conservation and restoration of art works are addressed both towards the private market and to Institutions in Sweden as abroad.

Conservator Anna Bronzoni Catellani was educated at Palazzo Spinelli Nicolini, the Institute for the Conservation and Restoration of Art in Florence. She has also studied at the Art Academy in Modena, Italy, and has received a Swedish Master of Arts’s degree in art history from the University of Uppsala.

Anna Bronzoni Catellani has received a number of awards over the years. She has been recognized by the Italian Government for her major contribution in the conservation and restoration of artwork, and accordingly was awarded the title of Knight of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity (Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella della Solidarietà Italiana) by the Italian President, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi in 2005.
